A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Toledo Board of REALTORS on its Centennial. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Toledo Board of REALTORS on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and |
| WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the Toledo Board of REALTORS, for throughout the last century, it has achieved a remarkable record of service to the area. Founded in February 1910, the board works to protect consumers in real estate transactions, promote affordable housing, and expand ownership and protection of private property rights, and it currently represents approximately 1,400 Realtors. The achievements of TBR are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its dedicated members, for these individuals have certainly distinguished themselves as conscientious and hard-working Ohioans; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, the Toledo Board of REALTORS has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. Through its generous contributions, it has earned the respect and gratitude of the community it has so capably served; and |
| WHEREAS, We are certain that as the Toledo Board of REALTORS maintains its dedication to service, it will maintain the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark. We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of organizations such as TBR that the State of Ohio continues to prosper and remains a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Toledo Board of REALTORS on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Toledo Board of REALTORS. |
