A RESOLUTION

Honoring Albert Campana as the recipient of a Meritorious Lifesaving Award.
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Albert Campana, an officer at Lake Milton, on being presented with a Meritorious Lifesaving Award by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks and Recreation; and |
| WHEREAS, Albert Campana is a truly remarkable man, for he combined humanitarian concern with selfless initiative to assist two fellow citizens. On September 14, 2008, the remnants of Hurricane Ike crossed the State of Ohio causing high gusts of wind and unprecedented waves on Lake Milton. During the windstorm, Albert Campana rescued two boaters who had fallen in the water, and his actions prevented a tragedy from occurring; and |
| WHEREAS, Albert Campana has clearly shown the potential of each person to make a difference in the life of another, and we applaud him on his efforts. Through his exceptional integrity, he has set an example of concerned and responsible citizenship that is worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, Albert Campana has truly been an inspiration to many. His unselfish behavior serves as a reminder that displaying compassion for others is not a thing of the past but is instead a value that is demonstrated daily by individuals such as he; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Albert Campana on his recent accolade and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Albert Campana. |
