A RESOLUTION | Honoring Lutheran Homes Society on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Lutheran Homes Society on the memorable occasion of its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary, celebrated August 5, 2010; and |
| WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to Lutheran Homes Society, for throughout the last one hundred fifty years, this fine organization has achieved a praiseworthy record of service to the community, providing housing and support to youths and seniors. The society's accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its astute management and on its hard-working staff and volunteers; and |
| WHEREAS, Lutheran Homes Society has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and its generous contributions have gained it the gratitude and esteem of the citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that as this worthy agency maintains its dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has been the hallmark of the Lutheran Homes Society since its establishment; and |
| WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of organizations such as Lutheran Homes Society that Ohio has earned a reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of its citizens. It is due to groups such as this that our state has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Lutheran Homes Society on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Lutheran Homes Society. |
