Senator Faber 

Honoring Kent Boyd for his outstanding achievements on So You Think You Can Dance.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Kent Boyd on earning second place in season seven of So You Think You Can Dance; and

       WHEREAS,  A creative and talented artist, Kent Boyd has demonstrated exemplary initiative, enthusiasm, and perseverance in developing and sharing his performances, and as a result, he placed second during season seven of So You Think You Can Dance. His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him a reputation as a truly gifted dancer, and he is deserving of high praise; and

       WHEREAS,  Dancing requires exceptional talent and an intense work ethic, and Kent Boyd has honed and perfected his skills as a dancer by devoting countless hours to practice and rehearsal. In the process, he has learned important lessons about poise and self-discipline; and

       WHEREAS,  Kent Boyd can be justifiably proud of his achievements, as they are evidence of his sincere desire to develop his gifts completely so that he might fulfill his future goals. With his talent and initiative, he has no doubt developed a knowledge of dance that will continue to benefit him throughout his lifetime; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Kent Boyd for his exemplary efforts on So You Think You Can Dance; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kent Boyd.
