Senators Cates, Schuler 

Honoring the Thirteenth Annual All-Ohio Academic Team.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the members of the Thirteenth Annual All-Ohio Academic Team; and

       WHEREAS,  Sponsored by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges, Phi Theta Kappa, Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc., the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, and the Robert and Lynne Haehnlen-Sprague Scholarship Fund in Honor of Joshua Haehnlen Sprague and Sean Haehnlen Sprague, the All-Ohio Academic Team program provides scholarship opportunities and statewide recognition to outstanding two-year college students. Intelligent and motivated individuals, the members of the Thirteenth Annual All-Ohio Academic Team have worked diligently to develop their abilities, and their accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their schools, their communities, and the State of Ohio; and

       WHEREAS,  Displaying self-discipline, perseverance, and resolve, the members of the Thirteenth Annual All-Ohio Academic Team have striven to increase their knowledge and skills, and through their remarkable efforts, they have set examples worthy of emulation. By their decisive leadership, they have distinguished themselves as conscientious and responsible students, and we are certain that they will continue to display the same unwavering dedication to excellence for which they have become known; and

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Thirteenth Annual All-Ohio Academic Team have amply demonstrated their ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence and have displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to attain superior results. They have exhibited a sincere desire to do their best in all of their endeavors so that they might fulfill their goals in the future, and this, coupled with their responsibility and initiative, shows their potential to become some of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the members of the Thirteenth Annual All-Ohio Academic Team for outstanding achievement and salute them as fine Ohioans; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit duly authenticated copies of this Resolution to the Ohio Association of Community Colleges, Phi Theta Kappa, Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc., the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, the Robert and Lynne Haehnlen-Sprague Scholarship Fund in Honor of Joshua Haehnlen Sprague and Sean Haehnlen Sprague, and the news media of Ohio.
