A RESOLUTION
Honoring Jermey Hampton as the Ohio Youth of the Year for 2009.
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Jermey Hampton on being named the 2009 Boys and Girls Clubs of America Ohio Youth of the Year; and |
| WHEREAS, Jermey Hampton is truly deserving of high praise, for he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a shining example for the area. A senior at Libbey High School, he has been involved with the Toledo Boys and Girls Club for ten years, and through his unfaltering dedication to service and achievement, he has certainly distinguished himself as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and |
| WHEREAS, Jermey Hampton has willingly given of his time, energy, and abilities, and he has striven to better the world around him, and through his generous contributions, he has earned the respect and esteem of many. We are certain that in the years to come, he will continue to display the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which he has become known; and |
| WHEREAS, Jermey Hampton has made positive choices, and he has shown an unwavering determination to attain his goals through his display of such characteristics as exceptional personal motivation and remarkable self-discipline. To his credit, he has demonstrated a true commitment to developing his knowledge and skills, and he is encouraged by this honor to continue in his quest for excellence; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Jermey Hampton on his exemplary record of attainment and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jermey Hampton. |
