A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the Honorable Deborah Pryce for exemplary Congressional service.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Honorable Deborah Pryce for her service as a member of the United States House of Representatives; and

       WHEREAS,  Deborah Pryce is deserving of high praise for sixteen years of dedicated service to the 15th Congressional District. During her term in office, she has served in various roles with the House Republican Conference, the House Cancer Caucus, and the House Rules and Financial Services committees, and her efforts have been truly noteworthy; and

       WHEREAS,  Deborah Pryce is a remarkable individual, combining civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader for the State of Ohio. In addition to her responsibilities as a Representative, she was a prosecutor and judge for the Franklin County Municipal Court, and she has been active with the boards of the U.S. Botanic Garden and John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She has always been sincere and energetic in her approach to her work, and by her decisive leadership and unwavering devotion to service and achievement, she has certainly distinguished herself as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and

       WHEREAS,  The enthusiasm and expertise that Deborah Pryce has shown in all of her endeavors have earned her not only the esteem of all those with whom she has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens she has so capably served. As she reflects on her tenure, she has the satisfaction of knowing that she has provided a vital service to her district and to her state and has established a record of personal and professional achievement that will stand as a hallmark for others to emulate; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Honorable Deborah Pryce for exceptional public service and salute her as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Honorable Deborah Pryce.
