A RESOLUTION
Honoring Randall C. Hunt on his retirement from USDA Rural Development.
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Randall C. Hunt on the occasion of his retirement as state director of the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development; and |
| WHEREAS, Randall Hunt is deserving of high praise, for he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in his field. Commencing his service to rural Ohio with the Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission in 1989, he served as assistant director and director of the Governor's Office of Appalachia and executive director of the Ohio Rural Development Partnership before being appointed state director of USDA Rural Development by President George W. Bush in 2001, and he has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing his duties and fulfilling his responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence; and |
| WHEREAS, A talented and hard-working individual, Randall Hunt has made many significant contributions to the state's growth and development, and he has clearly shown the potential of each person to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our society. Always sincere and energetic in his approach to work, he has given freely of his time and abilities far beyond what was required or expected and has established a record of service that stands as a hallmark for others to emulate; and |
| WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unsurpassed efforts and deep commitment of conscientious people like Randall Hunt that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper and remains responsive to the needs of its residents. He has certainly distinguished himself as a dedicated public servant, and we applaud him on his truly outstanding work; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Randall C. Hunt on his retirement and wish him health, happiness, and prosperity in the years to come; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Randall C. Hunt. |
