A RESOLUTION
Honoring Erica Gelhaus on being crowned Miss Ohio 2009.
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Erica Gelhaus as Miss Ohio 2009; and |
| WHEREAS, Erica Gelhaus represents young women throughout the state who have established high personal goals and have worked diligently to attain their potential, and her selection as Miss Ohio 2009 is a fitting tribute to her for the enthusiasm and initiative that she has continually displayed. Richly endowed with keen intelligence and a multitude of skills, she has shown a strong desire to fully develop her talents so that she might fulfill her goals in the future; and |
| WHEREAS, Known and admired throughout her community as a lovely and charming individual, Erica Gelhaus has brought insight and exceptional ability to all of her endeavors. We are certain that as she assumes her duties as Miss Ohio, she will accept each challenge as an opportunity for growth and achievement and will ably serve as a representative and ambassador for the state; and |
| WHEREAS, Erica Gelhaus can be justifiably proud of attaining this high honor, for her tremendous record of accomplishment serves as an inspiring example for other young women to emulate. Her many strengths and distinctive qualities, combined with her engaging personality, will no doubt carry her far beyond this event and be of great benefit to her throughout her lifetime; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Erica Gelhaus on being named Miss Ohio 2009 and salute her as a fine Ohioan; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Erica Gelhaus. |
