A RESOLUTION
Honoring the YMCA Rockets cheerleading squad as the 2011 Cheer Power National Champion.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the YMCA Rockets cheerleading squad on winning the 2011 Cheer Power National Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, The YMCA Rockets cheerleading squad is to be commended for its remarkable fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in the group's success. To their credit, its members could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and grace, and as a result, the Rockets won first place in this year's Cheer Power National Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, Under the guidance of their coach, Michele Snyder, and her assistants, Joy McQuire and Missy Frazee, the members of the team have trained rigorously in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in this activity has enabled them to learn much about creative expression, discipline, and dedication, and the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout the season, the members of the YMCA Rockets cheerleading squad have learned much about dedication, self-discipline, leadership, and perseverance. Their first-place finish is a measure of their stalwart commitment to excellence, and their indomitable team spirit has made their families, friends, and coaches extremely proud; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the YMCA Rockets cheerleading squad for outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the YMCA Rockets cheerleading squad. |
