A RESOLUTION
Honoring Ali Tolich on winning the 2011 Division I State Championship in discus.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Ali Tolich as the 2011 Division I State Champion in discus; and |
WHEREAS, Ali Tolich is deserving of recognition for the remarkable athletic gifts and indomitable spirit that she has so amply displayed as a member of the Austintown Fitch High School girls track and field team. An exceptional athlete, she advanced to the Division I State Track and Field Meet, where she earned this year's discus title with a toss of 157 feet, 2 inches, her second consecutive championship. Her noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for others to emulate; and |
WHEREAS, Through her participation in sports, Ali Tolich has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to her throughout her life. Time and again, she has risen to the occasion, maintaining her morale, composure, and good sportsmanship; and |
WHEREAS, Ali Tolich's exceptional prowess has made her family, her friends, and her school very proud. Through her outstanding efforts, she has inspired countless individuals to excel in various areas of endeavor, and she has set an example worthy of the highest praise; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Ali Tolich on her recent attainment and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Ali Tolich. |
