In memory of Rocco J. Colonna.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Rocco J. Colonna on the sorrowful occasion of his death; and

       WHEREAS,  Rocco Colonna's zealous love of life and his selfless concern for the welfare of others distinguished him as an outstanding human being and as a leading citizen. Serving District 18 in the Ohio House of Representatives, he passed numerous bills and amendments during his twenty-four-year tenure, and he was also a member of the State Liquor Commission. Indeed, he was a devoted public servant whose exemplary career serves as an inspiration for others; and 

       WHEREAS,  A man of exceptional concern and commitment, Rocco Colonna achieved a praiseworthy record of service to the State of Ohio. His untiring efforts earned him numerous richly deserved accolades, and his dedication to civil service and his community has undoubtedly inspired many to commit themselves similarly; and

       WHEREAS,  Rocco Colonna's efforts will certainly live beyond him, and he will long be remembered for his kindness and his unwavering commitment to service. He will be remembered fondly by all those who knew and loved him, including his wife, Shirley, his three children, Tina, Lavaine, and Danny, and his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to a remarkable man, Rocco J. Colonna; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the family of Rocco J. Colonna.
