A RESOLUTION
Honoring the St. Henry High School girls volleyball team as the 2011 Division IV State Champion.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the St. Henry High School girls volleyball team as this year's Division IV State Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, Each member of the St. Henry High School girls volleyball team is an excellent young athlete, and Coach Diana Kramer has demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in guiding this squad to victory. This season, the Redskins bested the team from Tuscawaras Central Catholic High School by a score of 25-14, 25-12, 22-25, 25-18 to win the Division IV State Championship and finished the season with an overall record of 28-1. The unwavering commitment of the members and their coach has earned them this prestigious distinction, and they are certainly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the St. Henry High School girls volleyball team have established themselves as a truly exceptional team, and they have emerged as winners both in and out of athletic competition. Diana Kramer's skill as a coach is reflected in their outstanding success, and due largely to her tireless efforts, she has earned the respect and admiration of all who know her; and |
| WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. Through their participation in sports, the members of the St. Henry High School girls volleyball team have learned lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them throughout their lives; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the St. Henry High School girls volleyball team as the 2011 Division IV State Champion and salute all those who contributed to the success of this fine team; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the St. Henry High School girls volleyball team. |
