A RESOLUTION
Honoring Wuebker Farms, LLC on being honored as a 2011 Pork Industry Environmental Steward.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Wuebker Farms, LLC, on being recognized as a 2011 Pork Industry Environmental Steward by Pork Checkoff and National Hog Farmer magazine; and |
| WHEREAS, Selection for this prestigious honor is an accomplishment of which the management and hard-working employees of Wuebker Farms can be proud, for they have been acknowledged for their dedication to safeguarding the environment as well as their local community. Without question, all those associated with this fine business, including Alan and Jeff Wuebker, are to be commended for their willingness to strive for superior results; and |
| WHEREAS, Founded on the highest ideals of professionalism, Wuebker Farms has distinguished itself as a stellar endeavor. A diversified farming operation that raises nearly 43,000 weaned pigs, 50 head of dairy beef cattle, and more than 1,200 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa each year, the enterprise will certainly continue to be a prominent fixture in the local pork production community; and |
| WHEREAS, Wuebker Farms has earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence and has established itself as a worthy venture, and as a result of its manure management systems, water and soil conservation practices, odor-control strategies, farm aesthetics, neighbor relations, wildlife habitat promotion, innovative ideas to protect the environment, and an essay on environmental stewardship, the pork producer was named a Pork Industry Environmental Steward for 2011. | RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Wuebker Farms, LLC, for outstanding achievement and salute it as one of Ohio's finest businesses; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Wuebker Farms, LLC. |
