A RESOLUTION | Honoring Charles A. Penzone as the recipient of an ISBN Lifetime Achievement Award. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Charles A. Penzone on receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International SalonSpa Business Network; and |
| WHEREAS, This prestigious honor is a fitting tribute to Charles Penzone for advancing the interests of the International SalonSpa Business Network and the salon and spa industry. The founder and chairman of The Charles Penzone Salons, he has expanded the enterprise to multiple locations and several affiliates, and both he and the business have received numerous honors and awards. The owner and operator of a professional salon product distribution company, a consulting company, and a real estate management firm, he has been appointed a commissioner of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, serving as its chairman, and he has been active with such organizations as ISBN, The Salon Association, Intercoiffure America-Canada, The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Entrepreneurial Leaders Society, Recreation Unlimited, Marburn and Columbus academies, and Columbus Ballet Metropolitan. The president of The Charles Penzone Salons, his wife, Debra, has also been presented with various accolades for her work with the business and for her volunteerism, and she authored a book, Debbie's Club: Discovering MyTrueBeauty for Girls, to help inspire and empower young women; and |
| WHEREAS, Charles Penzone is deserving of high praise, for he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in the Central Ohio area. Through his unwavering dedication to excellence, he has certainly distinguished himself as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan, and we applaud him on his tremendous efforts; and |
| WHEREAS, Charles Penzone's exceptional record of personal and professional success stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation, and he has inspired countless individuals to excel in numerous areas of endeavor. The respect and admiration he has earned throughout his life are clearly evident, and his accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on him but also on his family and his community; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Charles A. Penzone on his ISBN Lifetime Achievement Award and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
