Honoring Representative Mary Brigid Matheney for outstanding service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Representative Mary Brigid Matheney for her loyal service to the Ohio House of Representatives; and

       WHEREAS,  Throughout her distinguished tenure as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, Mary Matheney has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing her duties and fulfilling her responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. Representing the 98th District, she has ably served as a member of the Financial Institutions, Housing, and Urban Development, Health and Aging, and Transportation, Public Safety, and Homeland Security committees, and with commendable determination and resolve, she has brought her talents and experience to bear on the ever-changing needs and issues of the Ohio General Assembly; and 

       WHEREAS,  Mary Matheney has given willingly of her time and energy far beyond what was required or expected and has displayed a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life in our society. Her love for Ohio and her sincere desire to serve its people to the best of her ability have shown her to be a truly concerned and responsible public servant, and we are proud to note that it is through the efforts of conscientious individuals such as she that our state and nation continue to grow and prosper; and

       WHEREAS,  Throughout her service as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, Mary Matheney has consistently maintained a high degree of achievement and has displayed a level of integrity and commitment that has earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues on both sides of the political aisle. Whether engaged in floor debate or in committee deliberations, she has brought a full measure of enthusiasm, intelligence, and public spirit to her duties and has effectively served her constituents and the Great State of Ohio; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Representative Mary Brigid Matheney on her exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives and extend best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Representative Mary Brigid Matheney.
