A RESOLUTION
Honoring Dr. William W. Wagner on being named the 2012 Ohio Principal of the Year.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Dr. William W. Wagner on being named the 2012 Ohio Principal of the Year by the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators; and |
| WHEREAS, Selection for this award is an honor of which William Wagner can be proud, for he has been acknowledged for his outstanding administrative talents and leadership ability and for his unwavering dedication to education. Commencing his tenure with Lakewood High School as a house principal in 2001, he has served as principal since 2003, and under his leadership, LHS has received six excellent ratings and numerous federal and state grants. Indeed, he has been tireless in his efforts to ensure that his students receive the best education possible, and he has brought vision and wisdom to his work; and |
| WHEREAS, Motivated by a deep concern for young people, William Wagner is to be commended for his exceptional efforts. He has encouraged many young people to take the initiative in developing their scholastic abilities and has instilled within them an appreciation of the importance of education that will benefit them throughout their lives; and |
| WHEREAS, William Wagner's unstinting contributions of time, talent, and seemingly inexhaustible energy to students and teachers alike have gained him the appreciation and esteem of everyone with whom he has been associated. He has the satisfaction of knowing that his work stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Dr. William W. Wagner on receiving the 2012 Ohio Principal of the Year Award and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Dr. William W. Wagner. |
