In memory of Sergeant J.P. Huling.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio extend our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Sergeant J.P. Huling in their bereavement; and

       WHEREAS,  J.P. Huling left an indelible impression on the people whose lives he touched. An explosive ordnance disposal specialist with the 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, he embodied a combination of knowledge and commitment that made him a truly valuable part of our nation's armed forces. We take this opportunity to remember his exceptional record of service; and 

       WHEREAS,  A 2004 graduate of Moeller High School, J.P. Huling led an exemplary life, manifesting those virtues we all seek to emulate. The love, compassion, and understanding he so readily extended to others will long remain in the hearts and minds of many, and his concern for improving the quality of life in our society was clearly evident in his contributions of time and energy to his family, friends, and community; and

       WHEREAS,  J.P. Huling's loyalty to our country, as well as his selfless devotion to the welfare of others, distinguished him as an outstanding human being and a leading citizen, and he has left a legacy of care and dedication that will surely live on. It is our sincere hope that his memory will be a source of comfort to those who loved and cherished him, including his wife, Priscilla, his mother, Debbie, his brother, Justin, and his sister, Lauren; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, express a profound sense of loss and genuine regret at the death of Sergeant J.P. Huling and pay tribute to this honorable man; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the family of Sergeant J.P. Huling.
