Honoring Randy Bailey as the 2011 National Citizens Police Academy Coordinator of the Year.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Randy Bailey on being presented with the 2011 National Citizens Police Academy Coordinator of the Year Award; and

       WHEREAS,  Randy Bailey is a twenty-eight-year veteran of the Westerville Division of Police, currently serving as a crime prevention officer with the Community Services Bureau, and he is deserving of praise for his commendable record of service to local citizens. Working with members of the Westerville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, he oversees recruitment, curriculum, instructor development, class and schedule coordination, application review, and background checks for each academy class, and his efforts are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection on his department, on his family, and on the entire community; and 

       WHEREAS,  Randy Bailey's tremendous efforts have helped to guarantee a high level of success for all projects with which he has been involved and have gained him the appreciation and gratitude of many. It is through the unsurpassed commitment of conscientious professionals such as he that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper and remains a pleasant place in which to live and work. We are certain that as he maintains his dedication to service, he will continue in the tradition of excellence for which he has become known; and

       WHEREAS,  This prestigious honor is a fitting tribute to Randy Bailey for exemplifying the best of his profession. At a time when many people are content to take a passive role in life, he has chosen a vocation through which he ensures the well-being of his fellow citizens, and his enthusiasm and devotion to duty have earned him the respect and gratitude of his peers and of the community he have so capably served; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Randy Bailey on his professional attainment and salute him as one of Ohio's finest law enforcement officers; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Randy Bailey.
