Honoring the Lebanon High School Air Force Junior ROTC drill team as the 2011-2012 State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Lebanon High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps drill team on winning the State Championship, May 5, 2012; and |
WHEREAS, A remarkable group of students, the members of the Lebanon High School Air Force Junior ROTC drill team have combined precision and accuracy with the highest ideals of professionalism to establish themselves as a truly exceptional squad. With admirable dedication, the cadets have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in drills and ceremony through their participation in Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps drill team competitions throughout the school year, and as a result, they compiled the most points for the season and won first place in the recent State Championship, earning their fifth consecutive state title; and |
WHEREAS, The achievements of the Lebanon High School Air Force Junior ROTC drill team are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the members, their families, their school, their community, and their instructors. The maturity and experience the students have gained through participation in this competition will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; and |
WHEREAS, The Lebanon High School Air Force Junior ROTC drill team is to be commended for its remarkable fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in its impressive performance. To their credit, the cadets could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and grace; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Lebanon High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps drill team on its recent attainment and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Lebanon High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps drill team. |
