A RESOLUTION
Honoring the St. Charles Preparatory School JETS team as the 2011 Division III National Champion.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the St. Charles Preparatory School Junior Engineering Technical Society team on winning the 2011 Division III National Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the St. Charles Preparatory School JETS team are a remarkable group of young academicians, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge, and at the 2011 National TEAMS Competition, they placed first in Division III, their third consecutive national title, and second overall. Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, the Cardinals have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud; and |
| WHEREAS, In preparing themselves for this important contest, the members of the St. Charles Preparatory School JETS team have had the opportunity to develop and express their individual abilities and to acquire knowledge and information that will be of great benefit to them throughout their lives. Having worked diligently to sharpen their skills, they confronted competition with confidence and enthusiasm and distinguished themselves as worthy representatives of their school, community, and state; and |
| WHEREAS, The success of the St. Charles Preparatory School JETS team is a fitting tribute to the excellent leadership provided by its advisor, Dr. Sarah Vandermere, who has given tirelessly of her time, energy, and expertise to guide the members. The group's accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride not only for the students but also for their families, their advisor, their school, and their community. The maturity and experience the members have gained through their participation in JETS will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the St. Charles Preparatory School JETS team for outstanding achievement and salute the members and advisor as some of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the St. Charles Preparatory School JETS team. |
