A RESOLUTION
Honoring the St. Charles Preparatory School robotics team as the 2012 Rookie All-Star Award recipient.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the St. Charles Preparatory School robotics team on winning the Rookie All-Star Award at the 2012 FIRST Robotics Buckeye Regional Competition; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the St. Charles Preparatory School robotics team are remarkable young individuals, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students. With admirable dedication, the CardinalBots designed, engineered, and operated a robot to complete an assigned task, and as a result, they won the Rookie All-Star Award at this year's FIRST Robotics Buckeye Regional Competition to qualify for the FIRST Robotics World Championship, where they placed twenty-fourth in the Curie division; and |
| WHEREAS, Through practice and preparation, the members of the St. Charles Preparatory School robotics team have displayed determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and the squad's efforts are truly admirable. The enthusiasm and expertise that they have shown in all of their endeavors have earned them the respect and admiration of many; and |
| WHEREAS, The accomplishments of the St. Charles Preparatory School robotics team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the members but also on their families, their advisor, Steve Miller, their school, and their community. We are certain that the maturity and experience the students have gained through their participation in robotics competition will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the St. Charles Preparatory School robotics team on its success and salute its members and advisor as fine Ohioans; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the St. Charles Preparatory School robotics team. |
