A RESOLUTION

Honoring Summitville Tiles, Inc. on its Centennial Anniversary.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Summitville Tiles, Inc., on the memorable occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

       WHEREAS,  Summitville Tiles is, indeed, deserving of high praise for, throughout ten decades of operation, this fine company has achieved a praiseworthy record of accomplishment. Founded as a producer of highway paving bricks, this fine endeavor has grown to become one of America's preeminent manufacturers of premium-grade quarry tile, floor brick, and special purpose tiles for commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial installations. Indeed, the corporation has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and its success is a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the business itself but also on the astute management of its owners, the Johnson family, on its hard-working employees, and on the community; and 

       WHEREAS,  Summitville Tiles has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. Due to the tremendous effort and initiative its staff has displayed, the company has grown significantly during the last century, and this noteworthy enterprise is certainly deserving of high praise. We have no doubt that as this worthy enterprise maintains its dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper; and

       WHEREAS,  Over the past one hundred years, the Johnson family has epitomized America's entrepreneurial spirit, and it is through the contributions of businesses such as this that our state has gained a reputation as a friendly, productive, and pleasant place in which to live. We are certain that in years to come, the Johnson family, as well as the dedicated individuals whom they employ, will uphold the tradition of excellence which has long been the hallmark of the business; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Summitville Tiles, Inc., on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Summitville Tiles, Inc.
