Honoring Brannon Kidder on winning three 2012 Division I State Track and Field Championship titles.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Brannon Kidder on placing first in the 800-meter and 1,600-meter runs and in the 3,200-meter relay at the 2012 Division I State Track and Field Championships; and

       WHEREAS,  A diligent and capable individual, Brannon Kidder is deserving of acknowledgement for his exemplary accomplishments as a runner at Lancaster High School. An exceptional athlete, he won first place in the 800-meter and 1,600-meter runs and in the 3,200-meter relay at this year's Division I State Track and Field Championships, and his noteworthy record of personal accomplishment stands as a hallmark for others to emulate; and 

       WHEREAS,  Through his participation in sports, Brannon Kidder has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired countless individuals to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has set an example worthy of the highest praise; and

       WHEREAS,  In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. Brannon Kidder has certainly inspired his teammates, thrilled his fans, gained the respect of his opponents, and made his coaches and family very proud; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Brannon Kidder on his track and field success and extend best wishes for the years to come; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brannon Kidder.
