A RESOLUTION
Honoring Donovan Robertson as a 2012 Division I State Track and Field Champion.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to salute Donovan Robertson on winning the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdle events at the 2012 Division I State Track and Field Championships; and |
| WHEREAS, Donovan Robertson is, indeed, deserving of high praise for his accomplishments at this year's Division I State meet, which include winning first in the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdle events. He has worked diligently to perfect his skills as a runner and a hurdler, and his efforts have clearly paid off; and |
| WHEREAS, Sports are a vital social and recreational outlet for people of all ages. With competition being a mainstay of American society, we applaud Donovan Robertson for his participation in an activity that promotes qualities essential for excellence in all of life's pursuits; and |
| WHEREAS, In his journey to attain his athletic goals, and in all aspects of his life, Donovan Roberson has consistently demonstrated the talent, determination, and integrity that are the hallmarks of a true athlete. Without question, the unique combination of talent and the personal motivation that this athlete has displayed are evidence that he is certainly destined for success throughout the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Donovan Robertson on his exemplary performance at the 2012 Division I State Track and Field Championships and salute him as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Donovan Robertson. |
