Honoring the John Sells Middle School Moderately Confused FIRST LEGO League team as the 2012 FIRST LEGO League Global Innovation Award co-recipient.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the John Sells Middle School Moderately Confused FIRST LEGO League team on being named a co-winner of the 2012 FIRST LEGO League Global Innovation Award; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the John Sells Middle School Moderately Confused FIRST LEGO League team are remarkable young individuals, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students. With admirable dedication, members David Feng, Peter Glaubitz, Edwin Glaubitz, Jacob Hoylman, Arjun Kumar, Rahul Mal, Lucienne Paradis, Ananya Rajagopal, Nathan Sears, and Abhimanyu Singhal designed a concept addressing the FOOD FACTOR Challenge, and as a result, they won the Global Innovation Award for their entry, entitled "Erasable Barcode," which combines a Timestrip and barcode to ensure grocery store food is safe when purchased; and |
| WHEREAS, Through practice and preparation, the members of the John Sells Middle School Moderately Confused FIRST LEGO League team have displayed determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and the squad's efforts are truly admirable. The creativity and innovation that they have shown in all of their endeavors have earned them the respect and admiration of many; and |
| WHEREAS, The accomplishments of the John Sells Middle School Moderately Confused FIRST LEGO League team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the members but also on their families, their school, their community, and their coaches, Paul Glaubitz, Jennifer Glaubitz, John Hoylman, and Tom Sears. We are certain that the maturity and experience the students have gained through their participation in this competition will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the John Sells Middle School Moderately Confused FIRST LEGO League team on its success and salute its members and coaches as fine Ohioans; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the John Sells Middle School Moderately Confused FIRST LEGO League team. |
