A RESOLUTION
Honoring Valley Vineyards for its success at the 2012 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Valley Vineyards on winning a share of the Director's Choice Award at the 2012 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition; and |
| WHEREAS, Since its founding by Ken Schuchter in 1969, Valley Vineyards has established a solid foundation of superior products upon which it can continue to grow and prosper. The company has certainly set a shining example of responsible practices, gaining the esteem and appreciation of the entire community; and |
| WHEREAS, Clearly, the conscientious harvesting and fermenting methods of Valley Vineyards have paid handsome dividends. Over the years, this fine winery has remained dedicated to producing award-winning wines, and as a result, it won a share of this year's Director's Choice Award for its 2010 cabarnet sauvignon and syrah and received a silver honor for its champagne at this year's Finger Lakes International Wine Competition; and |
| WHEREAS, These special honors offer all those associated with Valley Vineyards the unique opportunity to reflect on the success of the past and to look with optimism to the future. Through the hard work, dedication, and business acumen of its president, Kenny Joe Schuchter, the company has attained a praiseworthy record of service, as evidenced by its many loyal and satisfied customers; therefore be it |
