A RESOLUTION
Honoring Arison Boswell as a 2012 National Champion in Karate.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Arison Boswell on winning the short weapon forms championship at the 2012 USA National Karate-do Federation Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, A student at the Doug Yates Karate School, Arison Boswell has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young athlete. At this year's USANKF Championship, she earned a gold medal in the short weapon forms event and a bronze medal in the fighting event, and her unwavering commitment to excellence has certainly earned her these distinctions; and |
| WHEREAS, Arison Boswell is worthy of acknowledgement for the formidable athletic gifts and the competitive spirit that she has so amply revealed as a standout martial artist. Through her exemplary efforts, she has inspired countless individuals to excel in various areas of endeavor, and she is deserving of the highest praise; and |
| WHEREAS, By developing such exceptional prowess as a martial artist, Arison Boswell has gained the appreciation of her fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans, and the respect of even her most determined rivals. Participation in Karate has enabled her to learn much about dedication, self-discipline, and leadership, and it is no surprise that she has won so many admirers; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, honor Arison Boswell for outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for a bright, rewarding future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Arison Boswell. |
