Honoring Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland on its Centennial.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, all those associated with Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland have consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism and expertise, as well as an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest ideals of philanthropy and service. The agency responds to the health and human needs and social concerns of people within the diocese with a diverse array of services, including those related to adoption, chemical dependency, disabilities, early learning, emergency assistance, employment and job training, foster care, marriage and families, mental health, refugees, older adults, and youth, and its endeavors are truly noteworthy; and |
| WHEREAS, Due to the tremendous effort and initiative displayed by its staff and volunteers, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland has grown significantly during the last century, and this fine organization is certainly deserving of high praise. This special anniversary offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the association's legacy of accomplishment and to look with optimism to the future; and |
| WHEREAS, It is not surprising that Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland has achieved widespread recognition, for it has far surpassed the expectations of its founders. Indeed, it exemplifies the essence of the Catholic spirit of giving and sets the standard to which other such groups can aspire; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland on its One Hundredth Anniversary and salute all those who have contributed to its success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland. |
