A RESOLUTION
Honoring Gracie Fusco as Miss American Sweetheart 2012 and USA National Preteen 2012.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Gracie Fusco on being named Miss American Sweetheart 2012 at the National Miss American Coed Pageant and USA National Preteen 2012 at the USA National Miss Pageant; and |
| WHEREAS, An intelligent, motivated, and personable young woman, Gracie Fusco has worked diligently to develop her knowledge and skills, and as a result, she won her age group at the 2011 Miss Ohio American Coed Pageant to qualify for the National Miss American Coed Pageant, where she was crowned Miss American Sweetheart 2012, and won the title of USA National Preteen 2012 at the USA National Miss Pageant. A student at Notre Dame Elementary School, she has been active with such organizations as her local animal shelter, Relay for Life, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, and Project Night Night. In all of her endeavors, she has amply demonstrated her ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence, and we applaud her on her tremendous efforts; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, Gracie Fusco has clearly demonstrated the potential of every citizen to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our society, and she is deserving of high praise. Her amiable style will no doubt carry her far beyond this event, and she can be justifiably proud of her accomplishments, for her many special qualities make her truly worthy of these titles; and |
| WHEREAS, Gracie Fusco can be justifiably proud of attaining these high honors, for her tremendous record of attainment serves as an inspiring example for other young women to emulate. Her many strengths and distinctive qualities, combined with her engaging personality, will be of great benefit to her throughout her lifetime; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Gracie Fusco for outstanding achievement and, in so doing, salute her as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Gracie Fusco. |
