A RESOLUTION
Representatives Maag, Beck
Honoring the Franklin High School cheerleading squad as the 2012 OASSA Division II State Champion.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Franklin High School cheerleading squad on winning the 2012 Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators Division II State Championship in the nonmount category; and |
| WHEREAS, An extremely talented group of young women, the members of the Franklin High School cheerleading squad have certainly distinguished themselves as some of the finest cheerleaders in Ohio. They performed admirably in the nonmount category at this year's OASSA State Championship, and they set an example worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, The success of any athletic endeavor depends largely on the ability of the coaches to provide both guidance and inspiration. In leading the Franklin High School cheerleading squad to victory, its coaches have not only helped each member to develop her talents to the fullest, but they have also instilled in each a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie; and |
| WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic school spirit and love of sports has led the members of the Franklin High School cheerleading squad to active and worthwhile participation in many extracurricular activities, and they have served as an inspiration to their peers. Their accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their coaches, their school, and the State of Ohio, and they are, indeed, deserving of high praise; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Franklin High School cheerleading squad for exemplary achievement and salute its members as some of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Franklin High School cheerleading squad. |
