Honoring Lucille Mayer as a member of the James A. Garfield Hall of Fame Class of 2012.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Lucille Mayer as an inductee of the 2012 James A. Garfield Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County; and |
WHEREAS, Lucille Mayer has helped to guarantee a high level of success for all projects with which she has been associated, and she has striven to fulfill the myriad goals of the Republican Party in a competent and responsible manner. Indeed, this fine distinction honors her for her exemplary service to the party; and |
WHEREAS, Lucille Mayer worked for the local board of elections as a poll worker for many years, and she was employed by the Central Lithograph Company and the Lutheran Business Men's Association. The former campaign manager for Senator Grace Drake, she has served as a precinct committeewoman for the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County Central Committee and an active member of the Seven Hills Republican Club, and she is worthy of emulation for her many efforts; and |
WHEREAS, Whether occupying center stage or working diligently in the wings, Lucille Mayer has always made her dynamic, supportive presence felt. To her credit, she has shown how very much can be accomplished by a conscientious, industrious person, and we applaud her on her tremendous work; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to Lucille Mayer on her record of service and extend best wishes for peace and prosperity; and be it further |
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Lucille Mayer. |
