Honoring Representative Courtney Combs for his service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Representative Courtney Combs for his outstanding service as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives; and

       WHEREAS,  Throughout his distinguished tenure as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, Courtney Combs has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing his duties and fulfilling his responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. Representing the 54th District, he has ably served as chair of the Criminal Justice Committee and as a member of the Insurance and State Government and Elections committees and the State Government and Elections Subcommittee on Redistricting. Displaying commendable determination and resolve, Representative Combs has brought his talents and experience to bear on the ever-changing needs and issues of the Ohio General Assembly; and 

       WHEREAS,  Courtney Combs has given willingly of his time and energy far beyond what was required or expected and has displayed a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life in our society. His love for Ohio and his sincere desire to serve its people to the best of his ability have shown him to be a truly concerned and responsible public servant, and we are proud to note that it is through the efforts of conscientious individuals such as he that our state and nation continue to grow and prosper; and

       WHEREAS,  Election to public office is one of the highest honors that the people in a democracy can bestow upon a fellow citizen. As a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, Courtney Combs has consistently maintained a high degree of achievement and has displayed a level of integrity and commitment that has earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues on both sides of the political aisle. Whether engaged in floor debate or in committee deliberations, he has brought a full measure of enthusiasm, intelligence, and public spirit to his duties, and he has effectively served his constituents and the Great State of Ohio; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Representative Courtney Combs on his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives and salute him as a fine Ohioan; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Representative Courtney Combs.
