A RESOLUTION
Honoring Brett Popke as Industrial Truck Driver of the Year.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Brett Popke on being named Industrial Truck Driver of the Year by the Environmental Industry Associations; and |
| WHEREAS, Brett Popke is a remarkable individual, for he has combined civic concern and dedication with the utmost professionalism to become a dynamic leader in his field. A refuse truck driver for Republic Services, he has achieved more than two million miles of accident-free driving, and he is deserving of the highest praise; and |
| WHEREAS, As evidenced by this prestigious award, Brett Popke has proven himself to be a reliable and safe driver, and he is held in high regard by his supervisors, his peers, and the local community. He has given of his time, energy, and ability far beyond what was required or expected, and we applaud him on his tremendous efforts; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout his more than twenty-seven-year career, Brett Popke has continually demonstrated his commitment to fulfilling his myriad responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. We are certain that in the years to come, he will maintain the same unwavering devotion to service and safety for which he has become known; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Brett Popke on his recent accolade and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brett Popke. |
