Honoring Tim McCarthy for outstanding service to the State of Ohio.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Tim McCarthy on the occasion of his retirement from the Ohio House of Representatives staff; and

       WHEREAS,  Tim McCarthy is a remarkable individual, for he has combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic member of the General Assembly staff. A lieutenant retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, for which he had worked for thirty-two years, he has served the Ohio House of Representatives as a sergeant-at-arms since 2000, being named the Employee of the Second Quarter of 2012, and he has performed his duties and fulfilled his responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. He is deserving of high praise; and 

       WHEREAS,  For more than twelve years, Tim McCarthy has given generously of his time, energy, and abilities to assist the General Assembly and has demonstrated a noteworthy commitment to the success of state government. He has provided a valuable service by helping to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process, and without the efforts of individuals such as he, many services that are currently available to the constituents of our state would cease to exist; and

       WHEREAS,  Tim McCarthy's contributions to the State of Ohio have been greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of working with him. He has displayed exceptional devotion, responsibility, and enthusiasm in his endeavors, and we extend best wishes for health and happiness in the years to come; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Tim McCarthy on his exemplary state service and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tim McCarthy.
