A RESOLUTION
Honoring Michael Brajdic as the 2010 Division II State Boys Cross Country Champion.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Michael Brajdic on placing first at the 2010 Division II State Boys Cross Country Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, This achievement is truly noteworthy, for Michael Brajdic has clearly demonstrated his talent and perseverance, as well as his mental and physical fortitude as a long distance runner. The winner of this year's Division II State tournament with a record time of 15:01.9, he also tied for eighth place at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional Cross Country Championship, and he has exemplified the courage, determination, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship which are essential for success both in and out of the sports world; and |
| WHEREAS, In displaying such exceptional prowess as a member of the Bay High School cross country team and as a competitor at the thirty-second annual Foot Locker Midwest Regional Cross Country Championship, Michael Brajdic has set an example worthy of emulation. Time and again, he has risen to the occasion, maintaining morale, composure, and tenacity that has earned him many admirers; and |
| WHEREAS, Long distance running is an event which requires exceptional stamina and natural ability, and Michael Brajdic is to be commended for his commitment to this demanding activity. Clearly, his exceptional prowess has made his family and friends very proud; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Michael Brajdic as the 2010 Division II State Boys Cross Country Champion and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Michael Brajdic. |
