A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastics team as the 2011 State Champion.
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastics team on placing first at the 2011 State Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastics team are excellent young athletes, and they have established themselves as a truly exceptional squad. This season, the Bees won nine individual medals to secure this year's State Championship, their eighth straight state championship and their eleventh such title in school history. The unwavering commitment of the participants, including Michaela Romito, Madison Weisbarth, Jessica Matia, Mea Weaver, Sarah Miller, Michelle Moock, Julianna Kivett, Katlyn Jonozzo, Meghan Doherty, and Jasmine Hackerd, has earned them this prestigious distinction, and they are certainly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Coaches Joan Ganim, Ron Ganim, A.J. Ganim, and Maria Ganim Schneider have demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in guiding the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastics team to victory, and their skill is reflected in the squad's outstanding accomplishment. Due largely to their tireless efforts, the members have established themselves as winners, both in and out of athletic competition, and they have earned the respect and admiration of all who know them; and |
| WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. Through their participation in sports, the members of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastics team have learned lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them throughout their lives; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastics team as the 2011 State Champion and salute all those who contributed to the success of this fine squad; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastics team. |
