A RESOLUTION
Honoring Becky Minger as the 2010 Miss Ohio.
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Becky Minger on being crowned Miss Ohio for 2010; and |
| WHEREAS, An intelligent, poised, and motivated young woman, Becky Minger has developed her knowledge and skills and has striven to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. A 2005 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School and a 2010 graduate of Bowling Green State University, she has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to attain superior results, and consequently, she was selected as the 2010 Miss All-American City and then Miss Ohio, our state's representative to the 2011 Miss America Pageant; and |
| WHEREAS, Becky Minger has derived extra energy from her many activities and accomplishments, including serving as the national spokesperson for The Thank You Foundation, and her integrity and steadfast determination are truly admirable. Indeed, her amiable style will carry her far beyond this event and will be of great value to her in the years to come; and |
| WHEREAS, The achievements of Becky Minger are a justifiable source of pride not only for her family and friends but also for the entire community. She has shown a sincere desire to fully develop her talents so that she might fulfill her goals in the future, and this, coupled with her maturity and initiative, shows her potential to become one of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Becky Minger on her recent honor and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Becky Minger. |
