A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Ridgemont High School FFA on receiving the national Model of Innovation in Chapter Development Award. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Ridgemont High School FFA on being named the Model of Innovation in Chapter Development at the 84th annual National FFA Convention; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Ridgemont High School FFA are a remarkable group of young individuals, for they combined talent and competitive spirit with outstanding knowledge to place first in the Chapter Development competition at this year's National FFA Convention. It is not surprising that their victories have won them a host of admirers, even among their most determined rivals; and |
| WHEREAS, The success of the Ridgemont High School FFA is a fitting tribute to the excellent leadership provided by its advisor, Stephanie Joliff, who has given tirelessly of her time, energy, and expertise to guide the members. The accomplishments of the chapter are a justifiable source of pride not only for the students but also for their families, their advisor, their school, and their community; and |
| WHEREAS, FFA combines the wisdom and leadership of adults with the enthusiasm and optimism of youth so that our young people will be better prepared to assume meaningful, rewarding roles in society. It is certainly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious individuals such as all those affiliated with the Ridgemont High School FFA; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, we commend the Ridgemont High School FFA on its tremendous attainment and salute its members as some of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ridgemont High School FFA. |
