A RESOLUTION | Honoring Kenzie Conrad as the 2011-2012 Gatorade Ohio Softball Player of the Year. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Kenzie Conrad on being named the 2011-2012 Gatorade Ohio Softball Player of the Year; and |
| WHEREAS, A senior at Keystone High School, Kenzie Conrad has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in softball, and as a result, she received this year's Gatorade Ohio Softball Player of the Year Award and finished the season with a 0.74 earned run average and a pitching record of 25-0 with 178 strikeouts; and |
| WHEREAS, Kenzie Conrad's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her coaches, her school, and her hometown. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has earned her this prestigious distinction, and she is certainly worthy of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to Kenzie Conrad on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in softball will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Kenzie Conrad on her remarkable attainment and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kenzie Conrad. |
