A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Hardin Northern FFA rural soils judging team as the 2010 Ohio FFA Rural Soils Judging Contest winner.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Hardin Northern FFA rural soils judging team on winning the Rural Soils Judging Contest at the 2010 Ohio FFA Convention; and

       WHEREAS,  All those associated with the Hardin Northern FFA rural soils judging team are deserving of recognition, for they have demonstrated exceptional diligence and enthusiasm, as well as an unwavering dedication to upholding the goals and principles of the National FFA Organization. Under the capable guidance of their coaches, members Reed Poling, Dan Hastings, Austin Douglas, and Blake Taylor performed admirably against staunch competition to win first place in the Rural Soils Judging Contest at this year's Ohio FFA Convention and qualified from the National Soils Judging Contest; and

       WHEREAS,  Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, the members of the Hardin Northern FFA rural soils judging team have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud. It is certainly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious individuals such as these; and

       WHEREAS,  The achievements of the Hardin Northern FFA rural soils judging team are a justifiable source of pride not only for the students but also for their coaches, their families, and their community. The maturity and experience the members have gained through their participation in this exciting activity will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the years to come; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Hardin Northern FFA rural soils judging team on its outstanding accomplishments and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Hardin Northern FFA rural soils judging team.
