A RESOLUTION | Honoring Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity on its Centennial. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and |
| WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity, for throughout the past century, it has attained a remarkable record of service and achievement. Founded at the University of Michigan on August 30, 1912, the fraternity is now headquartered in Bay Village, Ohio, and the celebration of its anniversary provides a unique opportunity for the sisters of the organization to reflect upon its history with a sense of pride and satisfaction while looking with optimism toward the future; and |
| WHEREAS, Commendably, the valuable contributions of Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity have met a number of important needs through such activities as providing social networking, leadership development, and philanthropic opportunities. Its success is a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the association itself but also on its members, both past and present, and on the community; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, the members of Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity have distinguished themselves as conscientious and responsible individuals, for they have striven to better the quality of life in our society. We are proud to note that it is through the unsurpassed efforts and deep commitment of worthy organizations such as this that our nation continues to grow and prosper and each state remains responsive to the needs of its residents; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the years to come; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity. |
