A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Bellbrook High School Color Guard as the 2013 Winter Guard International Champion. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Bellbrook High School Color Guard on winning first place at the 2013 Winter Guard International Championships; and |
| WHEREAS, The Bellbrook High School Color Guard is, indeed, to be commended for its remarkable fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in the squad's impressive performance at the Winter Guard International Championships. To their credit, the Marching Eagles could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance; and |
| WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their director, Sheldon Apo, the vivacious members of the Bellbrook High School Color Guard have trained diligently in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in this exciting activity has enabled them to learn much about creative expression, self-discipline, leadership, and dedication, and clearly, the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and |
| WHEREAS, The Bellbrook High School Color Guard's accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the members themselves but also on their families, their instructors, and their school. They have shown a sincere desire to fully develop their knowledge and skills so that they might fulfill their goals in the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Bellbrook High School Color Guard as the 2013 Winter Guard International Champion; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Bellbrook High School Color Guard. |
