A RESOLUTION | Honoring Erika Hartings as a 2013 State Bowling Champion. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Erika Hartings on winning first place in the individual competition at the 2013 Ohio High School Girls State Bowling Tournament; and |
| WHEREAS, A junior at Coldwater High School, Erika Hartings has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently to attain ultimate proficiency in bowling, and as a result, she won the individual competition at this year's State Bowling Tournament; and |
| WHEREAS, Time and again, Erika Hartings has risen to the occasion, maintaining her morale, composure, and good sportsmanship, and she has gained the respect of even her most determined rivals. Through her commitment to excellence and to the perfection of her technique, she has distinguished herself as a true champion; and |
| WHEREAS, Erika Hartings' accomplishments in the sport of bowling are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on her but also on her family, her coaches, her school, and her community. Her exceptional record of personal success stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation, and she has inspired countless individuals to excel in numerous areas of endeavor; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Erika Hartings on her tremendous achievements and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
