A RESOLUTION | Honoring Tyler Moon on receiving a 2013 Jefferson Award. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Tyler Moon on being presented with a 2013 Jefferson Award; and |
| WHEREAS, This fine distinction honors Tyler Moon for his exemplary service within the community. A junior at St. Francis DeSales High School, where he is active with the tennis team, National Honor Society, and the Italian, ski, and math clubs, he has become involved with many significant endeavors, including serving as an ambassador for Nationwide Children's Hospital and a captain and board member of the Take Steps Be Heard for Crohn's and Colitis walk, sponsored by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Central Ohio, and founding the Dine Out for Crohn's and Colitis Dinner. Indeed, he has helped to guarantee a high level of success for all projects with which he has been associated, and without a doubt, he has striven to fulfill his goals in a competent and responsible manner; and |
| WHEREAS, Tyler Moon's noteworthy accomplishments clearly demonstrate the potential of each person to have a beneficial effect on the quality of life in our society, and he has earned the respect and appreciation of all who know him. We note with pride that it is through exemplary efforts of dedicated individuals such as he that our state continues to grow and prosper; and |
| WHEREAS, Whether occupying center stage or working diligently in the wings, Tyler Moon has always made his dynamic, supportive presence felt. To his credit, he has shown how very much can be accomplished by a conscientious, industrious person, and he can be proud that his vision and vitality have inspired many who know him to dedicate themselves similarly; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Tyler Moon on receiving a 2013 Jefferson Award and salute him as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tyler Moon. |
