A RESOLUTION | Honoring Eric Wang as a 2013 OHSSL Champion. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Eric Wang on winning first place in the International Extemporaneous Speaking Competition at the 2013 Ohio High School Speech League state tournament; and |
| WHEREAS, As a member of the Solon High School speech and debate team, Eric Wang has distinguished himself among a wide field of capable competitors and has displayed a degree of intellectual prowess of which he can be justly proud. Working diligently to sharpen his skills, he received first-place honors in the International Extemporaneous Speaking Competition at the Ohio High School Speech League state tournament; and |
| WHEREAS, Displaying discipline, perseverance, and resolve, Eric Wang has identified himself as a conscientious and hard-working student. The knowledge and self-confidence he has gained through his participation in events such as the Ohio High School Speech League state tournament will no doubt be of great benefit to him throughout his lifetime; and |
| WHEREAS, Exhibiting tremendous poise under the pressures of competition, Eric Wang has demonstrated the confidence and enthusiasm of a true champion. Indeed, he has shown a sincere desire to do his best in all of his endeavors; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Eric Wang as a 2013 OHSSL Champion and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Eric Wang. |
