A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team on winning the 2013 Division III State Championship. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team as the 2013 Division III State Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, The talented Bloom-Carroll High School softball team is, indeed, to be heartily commended, for it has decisively earned this year's Division III State title. Without exception, the Bulldogs prepared conscientiously in pursuit of the championship, devoting countless hours to training and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning, and consequently, they overcame a strong Columbia team by the score of 3-2 to be named this year's Division III State Champion and finished the season with an impressive 29-3 record; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team have epitomized the power, poise, and precision that befit authentic champions. To his credit, Coach Aaron Alvelo has guided the squad with unwavering expertise and encouragement, and he merits enthusiastic praise for coaxing admirable performances out of his players in each competitive outing. Time and again, the Bulldogs have risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating their unflagging determination, and their impressive maturity and finesse have earned them widespread respect, even among their staunchest rivals; and |
| WHEREAS, By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over numerous adversaries, the members of the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team have learned much about dedication, self-discipline, leadership, and perseverance. Their championship title reflects their strong commitment to the sport, and their indomitable team spirit has made their families, friends, and coaches extremely proud. This triumph attests to the steadfast resolve of these young women and signifies the acquisition of valuable experience that is sure to benefit them in later life; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team on its Division III State Championship title and applaud all those associated with this fine squad; and be it further |
