A RESOLUTION | Honoring David Tepe on winning the 2013 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend David Tepe as the 2013 BIG EAST Men's Golf Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, A member of the University of Cincinnati men's golf team, David Tepe is deserving of recognition for his exemplary accomplishments in his sport. An exceptional athlete, he received All-BIG EAST Conference League honors and shot a 208 to win the BIG EAST Championship this season, and his noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for others to emulate; and |
| WHEREAS, David Tepe's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his coach, Doug Martin, his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him the respect and admiration of many, and he is certainly worthy of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to David Tepe on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same maturity and experience he has gained through his participation in golf will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend David Tepe for outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to David Tepe. |
