A RESOLUTION | Honoring Emma Southall as a 2013 United States Tumbling and Trampoline Association National Champion. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Emma Southall on winning the double-mini trampoline sub-advanced girls 8-years-old and under category at the 2013 United States Tumbling and Trampoline Association National Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, A student at Gymnastics Central, Emma Southall has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in tumbling and trampoline, and as a result, she compiled a score of 57.60 to win the double-mini trampoline sub-advanced girls 8-years-old and under category at this year's United States Tumbling and Trampoline Association National Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, Emma Southall's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a remarkable reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her coach, Richard Mousir, her gym, and her community. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she is certainly worthy of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to Emma Southall on her exemplary achievement. Indeed, the same maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in tumbling and trampoline will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Emma Southall on her personal success and salute her as one of Ohio's finest young athletes; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Emma Southall. |
