A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Ross High School/Butler Tech engineering design team on receiving a gold medal at the National SkillsUSA competition.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Ross High School/Butler Tech engineering design team on winning a gold medal at the National SkillsUSA competition; and

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Ross High School/Butler Tech engineering design team are remarkable young individuals, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students. With admirable dedication, members Jake Fritz, Nathan Gander, Zach Habermehl, Tommy Hall, Doug Loos, Alex Spade, Nick Zaenkert, and Ben Warman installed a tractor engine, and old hydraulic transmission, a re-engineered suspension, and a custom interior in a Dodge truck, and as a result, they received numerous state and national awards, including a gold medal at the National SkillsUSA competition, and will be featured in Diesel World; and 

       WHEREAS,  Through practice and preparation, the members of the Ross High School/Butler Tech engineering design team have displayed determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and the squad's efforts are truly admirable. The enthusiasm and expertise that they have shown in all of their endeavors have earned them the respect and admiration of many; and

       WHEREAS,  The accomplishments of the Ross High School/Butler Tech engineering design team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the members but also on their families, their instructor, Eric Huhn, their school, and their community. We are certain that the maturity and experience the students have gained through their participation in competitions such as National SkillsUSA will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Ross High School/Butler Tech engineering design team on its success and salute its members and instructor as fine Ohioans; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ross High School/Butler Tech engineering design team.
